Inventory first
List every page at a *.wixsite.com address or your connected domain, note which share a layout, and mark the ones that actually earn traffic. Most sites have three or four real templates wearing different content.
Convert templates, not pages
Capture one representative page per template, then reuse it. That keeps spacing, headers and footers identical across the site instead of subtly drifting.

Wiring up navigation
Rewrite internal links to the new WordPress paths after activation, and confirm the active-state styling still applies on each route.
- Open the page you want to convert in Chrome.
- Click the Themify extension icon in the toolbar.
- Press Generate theme and wait for the capture to finish.
- In wp-admin, go to Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme.
- Upload the .zip, activate it, and the page is live on WordPress.
Consistency QA
Compare pages side by side at three widths. Look for header height differences, font-weight drift and inconsistent section padding — the usual symptoms of pages captured in different states.
